This recipe is crafted with 7 basic ingredients readily available in our kitchen, and so this vanilla cake premix recipe becomes a simple and convenient to make in just few minutes, without compromising on health.
The motivation behind creating this recipe was that I had struggled a lot to make the perfect formula for cake premix during my training classes. While recalling those days, I thought of sharing this recipe. This recipe will make the process of baking a vanilla sponge easy and perfect every time for a new enthusiast. The Ingredients

- Sifted all-purpose flour/maida: 65g
- Powdered sugar – 40g
- Milk powder – 20g
- Cornflour – 1/2 tbsp
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Pinch of salt

Method of making
- Combine the Dry Ingredients: Begin the process by meticulously sifting using a sieve all-purpose flour 65g , 40g of powdered sugar in a clean mixing bowl. Add 20g of milk powder, 1/2 tbsp of cornflour, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, and 1/4 tsp of baking soda into the mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt, which will enhance the overall flavor of the premix. Ensure no lumps are there after sifting the mixture.
- Thoroughly Mix the Ingredients: Use a hand whisk to mix all the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Ensure a homogenous blend by mixing all the dry components thoroughly. This step is crucial to achieving the perfect consistency in your premix.
- Store for Future Delight: Transfer the vanilla cake premix into an airtight container, ready to be stored in your kitchen for those moments when you crave a quick, delectable cake.
The above mentioned quantity will be sufficient to bake a vanilla cake sponge of 200grams. For larger quantities, simply double the quantities mentioned above.
