If you’re a fan of moist and soft chocolate cakes but prefer to go eggless, you’re in for a treat! In this blog post, I’ll guide you through creating your own Eggless Chocolate Cake Premix using simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. Also, this is my tried and tested premix recipe which I have learnt in my advanced baking course. After finalizing this recipe, even I am following this recipe too for my cakes and would recommend the same.
Dry ingredients
- Sifted all-purpose flour – 55g
- Milk powder – 20g
- Powdered sugar – 60g
- Cocoa powder – 10g
- Cornflour – 1/2 tbsp
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Pinch of salt
Mixing and Preparing the Eggless Chocolate Cake Premix
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar and cornflour. Sifting helps to remove any lumps and aerate the dry ingredients, resulting in a smoother cake texture.
- Add the milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt to the sifted dry ingredients. Use a whisk or spoon to combine everything thoroughly.
- Ensure all the dry ingredients are well incorporated and no lumps are there. The premix is now ready to be stored in an air tight container or can be used immediately for baking.
Storing the Eggless Chocolate Cake Premix:
Once you’ve prepared your Cake Premix, you can store it in an airtight container. Label the container with the date of making. Its best and safe to utilize the premix within 03 months.
Try this simple recipe at your home and share your thoughts about it. It would be really great if you can share the pictures too.
